About the Editor



(1) The Editor shall handle each manuscript in a fair, impartial and timely manner, and shall make decisions on acceptance or rejection of manuscripts in accordance with the opinions of the Editorial Board and relevant regulations.

(2) The Editor shall observe the principle of confidentiality, and keep the information of authors and reviewers strictly confidential, and the contents of the paper confidential until it is published.

(3) The editors shall endeavor to ensure the independent evaluation by peer experts, and shall not be motivated by interests to interfere with peer evaluation, so as to ensure the fairness and impartiality of peer review.

(4) For reviewing experts recommended by authors, editors shall verify whether their reviewer information is true and decide whether to use the recommended reviewers based on the recommended experts' research fields and expertise, and whether there is any conflict of interest with the authors. If an author requests to recuse an expert from reviewing his/her manuscript and the request is reasonable, the editor shall honor it.

(5) Editors are responsible for avoiding academic misconduct such as multiple submissions, duplicate publications, plagiarism, etc., and should do at least three times of checking and reviewing at the stages of initial submission, decision on acceptance, and upcoming publication of the paper.
