For Reviewers
The Cerebration Science Publishing recommend the reviewers to read the relevant descriptions in Ethical Guidelines For Peer Reviewers by the Committee
on Publication Ethics (COPE) and Roles & Responsibilities by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors(ICMJE).
Reviewers’ Responsibilities
(1) Reviewers should keep manuscripts and the information they contain strictly confidential.
(2) Reviewers must not publicly discuss authors’ work and must not appropriate authors’ ideas and use knowledge of the work they’re reviewing before its publication to further their own interests before the manuscript is published.
(3) Reviewers must not retain the manuscript for their personal use and should destroy copies of manuscripts after submitting their reviews.
(4) Reviewers should not agree to review a manuscript if they have any competing interests with the author (e.g., personal, financial, intellectual, professional, in their team or organization, political or religious).
(5) Reviewers should not delegate the review of a manuscript without the permission of the Editorial Office.
Reviewers should meet the following criteria:
Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must have no conflicts of interest with any of the authors, ensuring an unbiased evaluation.
Institutional Independence: Reviewers should not be affiliated with the same institution as the authors to maintain objectivity.
Publication History: Reviewers must not have co-authored any publications with the authors within the past three years to avoid potential biases.
Academic Qualifications: Reviewers are required to hold a PhD, ensuring they possess the necessary expertise.
Relevant Experience: Reviewers should have a substantial track record of relevant research and publications in the field of the submitted paper, as evidenced by their Scopus or ORCID profiles.
Scholarly Expertise: Reviewers must be seasoned scholars with extensive knowledge and experience in the subject matter of the submitted paper.
Academic Affiliation: Reviewers must hold a recognized academic affiliation, underscoring their credibility and standing within the academic community.
Peer review model
The Journals of Cerebration Science Publishing adopt double-blind peer review, which means:
· the reviewer’s name is NOT disclosed to the author
· the author’s name is NOT disclosed to the reviewer
