Copyright, Permission & Licensing
All papers published in the journals of CSpublishing are copyrighted by the authors and are licensed under the open access Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). This license allows anyone to freely download and read the papers. Furthermore, articles can be reused and cited as long as the original published version is properly credited. These conditions promote the widest possible dissemination and utilization of the work while ensuring that authors receive appropriate recognition.
For content that has been previously published, authors must secure permission to reproduce any material (figures, tables, text, etc.) that is not in the public domain or for which they do not hold the copyright, prior to submission.
Permission is required for:
Your own work published by other publishers if you did not retain the copyright.
Substantial extracts from any individual\'s works or a series of works.
Use of tables, graphs, charts, schemes, and artworks if they are unaltered or only slightly modified.
Photographs for which you do not hold the copyright.
Permission is not required for:
Reconstructing Tables: If you reconstruct your own table using data already published elsewhere, you must cite the original source, either as "Data from..." or "Adapted from...".
Fair Use Quotes: Very short quotes are considered fair use and do not require permission.
Redrawn and Altered Figures: Graphs, charts, schemes, and artwork that have been completely redrawn by the authors and significantly altered beyond recognition do not require permission. However, it\'s important to verify the copyright permissions of any underlying data.
Once permission is obtained, the copyright holder may provide specific instructions for acknowledgement. If no specific instructions are given, we recommend the following format: "Reproduced with permission from [author], [book/journal title]; published by [publisher], [year]." This ensures proper attribution and compliance with copyright requirements.
